Serena Ryan
Producer Director Writer
When she was little, Serena was completely obsessed with television. Not much has changed other than she no longer believes that watching TV gives you square eyes.
Heading up Ryan House Productions Serena has a strong background in TV, radio and film in both Perth and Melbourne. Prior to this Serena held a senior position in the state government of WA and was a psychologist for 10 years so is equipped to manage most situations on location, in the studio or when the last Tim Tam has been stolen. With a passion for travel, photography and the more decadent things in life Serena’s work focuses on narrative storytelling and trying to manage her obsession with the show Breaking Bad.
Claire Leach
Cinematographer
So committed to cinematography as a profession Claire suffers from a medical phenomenon known as the turtleneck; this is caused by constantly looking through the barrel of a lens. Travelling the world to record the stories of others, Claire is always cool, calm and collected (despite the turtle neck).
Dave Martin
Screenwriter
A self proclaimed visionary genius and former ten pin bowling wunderkind, David insists that life should be lived with the right hair care products. Writing in various mediums for both adults and children, he aspires to one day win an Oscar, or become an astronaut, whichever gets you the best dental plan. His favourite word is cumquat and he has been known to write Haiku though strangely he hasn’t tried to combine the two. As a Scout he won many merit badges.
Adam Sparnon
1st Assistant Director
Adam is a man leading a double life. On set he is known as the man who must be obeyed; he runs a set like a military operation and is every director’s dream to work with as he effortlessly manages crazy people in dark alleyways and can predict the weather with an alarming accuracy (then produces an umbrella or sunscreen). Off location he is a mild mannered pussycat who loves to sip liqueur and work out at the gym. He is treasured by the team.
Glenn Taylor
Sound Recordist
Glenn records sound, something he is passionate about; sometimes he’s in a drain recording water flowing and other times, he’s recording the dulcet tones of local jazz singers whilst fending off the unwanted attention of the ladies. He loves what it does and it shows in his work.
Glenn is cool. End of story.
Jon Morrison
Photographer
With the subtle humour and mild manners of Jeremy Clarkson, Jon can usually be found consuming single malt whisky and reciting Monty Python. It is said this releases his creative and technical genius as a commercial and advertising photographer, and obsession with all things labeled ”Nikon”. Some say he should permanently be behind a camera due to the fact that no-one can understand his Scottish accent.
Leanne Morrison
Web Designer and Photo Editor
The ‘other half’ of the Morrison team, Leanne’s passion lies with photo editing, website design/template customisation and internet Search Engine Optimisation. Whilst her teaching background provides her with the skills to manage an errant Scotsman, her computing skills give her the expertise she needs to support Jon’s Nikon addiction.
